When we shared our favorite holiday traditions a couple weeks ago, Kim shared that hers was making and decorating cookies with her family. I figured they must have a pretty yummy cookie recipe they use, since they do it every year. Sure enough, they do! If you are looking to make Christmas cookies this year, you're in luck, because we have a great recipe get you started.

Ann's Cut-out Cookies

1/2 C. butter
1/2 C. oleo
1 1/2 C. sugar
2 eggs - well beaten
1 Tbs. vanilla
3 3/4 C. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbs. milk

|| Directions ||
Mix butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Blend until combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture alternatively with the milk. Mix until everything is combined. Cover with plastic wrap and chill over night.
Bake at 375 for about 8 minutes.

And there you have it! If you make cookies with this recipe, be sure to let Ann know if you see her in the shop!
